Dr. Moritz has developed a special expertise in the treatment of TMJ disorders (CMD in German). He has completed multiple post-graduate programs worldwide in this field and has trained under two of the world’s most renowned specialists: Prof. Jeffrey Okeson (University of Kentucky) and Prof. Daniele Manfredini (University of Siena).
TMJ Treatment (Craniomandibular Dysfunction, CMD)
Symptoms such as jaw pain, clicking, limited mouth opening, or tension in the head and neck area may indicate a temporomandibular disorder (CMD). Using modern diagnostics and tailored therapies—ranging from splint therapy and physiotherapy to functional reconstructions—we address not only the symptoms but also the underlying causes. Our goal is to relieve strain on the jaw joints, reduce pain, and restore healthy function.
